Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026, at Lakeview Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date in Calvary Cemetery in Austin, Minn. Beth passed away on Saturday evening, Jan. 3, 2026, at her home in Fairmont. The Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Elizabeth (Beth) Reeve was born on Jan. 5, 1952, in Austin, Minn., the daughter of Thurman (“Ike”) and Eileen Atwood. She attended Catholic schools and graduated from Austin Public High School in 1970.

Following graduation, Beth attended Austin Community College (where she met Lynn), graduating in 1972 and then Normandale Community College, graduating in 1974 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Beth worked for a dental office in St. Paul for three years, and 40 years in Fairmont at Reeve Family Dentistry.

On Aug. 16, 1975, Beth was united in marriage to Lynn Reeve. They moved from St. Paul to Fairmont in 1977. In Fairmont, they opened Reeve Family Dentistry. After serving many patients, friends, and their families for 40 years, they retired in 2018. The couple raised two sons, Eric and Matt. Beth was a huge supporter of all the boys activities and they kept her busy for years.

Beth was active in the St. John Vianney church choir, Dollars for Scholars, Partners in Education, Kids Against Hunger, Heaven’s Table Food Shelf, and Fairmont Schools Booster groups. She greatly enjoyed her bridge groups and book clubs. She was a very talented and accomplished quilter and knitter. She enjoyed her yard, flowers and her bird friends. She was a huge booster of Fairmont Cardinal activities and the Minnesota Gophers.

Beth and Lynn loved to travel any chance they could: Alaska, Hawaii, Costa Rica, US, and 12 trips to Europe. Beth’s favorite travel destination was a small cabin on the North Shore.

Beth’s most cherished gifts were her four granddaughters (and one on the way). Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Lynn; sons, Eric (Anna) of Rochester, MN and Matt (Kara) of Golden Valley, Minn.; granddaughters, Liesl, Eva, Greta, and Frankie; sister, Jean (Jim) Thill of Leesburg, Va.; a niece and nephew.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Ike and Eileen Atwood; father and mother-in-law, Burt and Jane Reeve; and brother-in-law, Mark Reeve.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to the excellent staff at Fairmont Lutz Cancer Center and UHD Hospice for their kindness and extraordinary care.

The family requests memorials be made in Beth’s name to Lutz Cancer Center and Heaven’s Table Food Shelf.
