Bonnie E. Hotovec
FAIRMONT — Services for Bonnie E. Hotovec, 69, of Fairmont, Minn., will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fairmont. Bonnie passed away Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025, at Season’s Health Care Center in Trimont, Minn. The Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Fairmont is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Bonnie E. (Hotovec) Haack was born Aug. 14, 1956, in Redwood Falls, Minn., the daughter of Frank and Cleo (Bosewell) Haack. Bonnie moved with her family to Fairmont, where she attended school and graduated from Fairmont High School with the class of 1974.
Bonnie worked various jobs throughout her career, but found great joy in working in retail and helping customers.
On June 15, 1991, Bonnie was united in marriage to Tim Hotovec in Fairmont, Minn. The couple made their home in Fairmont and celebrated 34 years of marriage.
Bonnie was kind, caring, and always willing to help those in need. She made friends easily and found peace in being at home and worshiping at church. Bonnie loved her four-legged friends and through the years cared for many cats and dogs. She was talented in making Indian jewelry until her eyesight prevented her from doing so. Bonnie will be greatly missed by all those that loved her and called her a friend.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Timothy Hotovec; grandchildren, Felicity and Destiny; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, April and Melanie; step-children, Craig, Christopher (Jessica), and Courtney; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Rhoda, Bob, Bernie, Sharie, Linda and Alex; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Cleo Haack; son, Jason Haack; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Arthur Hotovec and Bobleen Guinn.
