Cole Jansen
ELMORE — With heavy hearts yet joyful spirits, we celebrate the life of Cole Jansen, 44, of Elmore, who passed away peacefully at his home and surrounded by family on Oct. 29, 2025. Cole leaves behind a legacy filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. A celebration of a life well-lived will be held at a later date.
Cole was born on Dec. 15, 1980, in Blue Earth to Erwen Jansen and Cynthia Smith. He graduated from Blue Earth High School. He worked as a board operator at Valero Ethanol Plant. Cole was a devoted father, whose love for his children knew no bounds. He enjoyed the great outdoors, finding joy in hunting and fishing, activities that became treasured moments shared with loved ones. He especially enjoyed his time with his brother Lucas, who was not only a sibling but also his best friend. His infectious happiness and warm disposition brightened the lives of those around him. Cole is survived by his beloved father, Erwen (Kim) Jansen; fiancé, Kelsey Jansen; his children, Ayla Warmka, Callen Massop Jansen, and Bayleigh, Fynley, and Fallyn Jansen; brother, Lucas (Candy) Jansen; sisters, Tamara (Carlos) Rosa and Tara (Jon) Kinney; several aunts; many nieces and nephews; and beloved niece Morgan, with whom he shared countless cherished moments.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia, his grandparents, and his uncle, Sonny.
