Julia J. (Stadtherr) Goltz was born on March 12, 1951, in New Ulm, Minn., the daughter of Wilfred and Elnor (Herschmann) Stadtherr. Julia received her education attending and graduating from Gibbon High School in Gibbon, Minn.

Julia worked at Medtronix and at the National Bone Marrow Registry in Data Control as a lab technician.

On Dec. 23, 1994, she was united in Marriage to Ervin E. Goltz in Las Vegas, Minn. Together, the couple made their home in Coon Rapids, Minn., and were blessed with five years of marriage prior to Ervin’s passing in 1999.

Julia was an avid Minnesota sports fan and could often be found cheering on the Twins, Vikings, and Gophers. She was a proud member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Coon Rapids, Minn., and cherished spending time with family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Bart Stadtherr of Fairmont, Minn., Pat Stadtherr of Forest, Va., and Garry Stadtherr of Miami, Fla.; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Julia was preceded in death by her parents, Wilfred and Elnor Stadtherr; husband, Ervin Goltz; brother, Jim Stadtherr; and three sisters-in-law, Jean Stadtherr, Kay Stadtherr, and Bonnie Stadtherr.

The family requests memorials be made in Julia’s name to The Beacon at Mapleton, (206 3rd Ave NE, Mapleton, MN 56065) and the St. John Vianney School Endowment Fund (901 S. Prairie Ave. Fairmont, MN 56031.)
