FAIRMONT — Mass of Christian burial for Jerome Maday, 84, of Fairmont, Minn., will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont, with full military honors by the Lee C. Prentice American Legion Post #36 and the Martin County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1222 held at the church immediately following the service. A private family burial will take place at a later date in Calvary Cemetery in Fairmont. Visitation will be two hours prior to the time of service from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont. Maday passed away Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025, at his home in Fairmont, Minn. Lakeview Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
