A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Atzenhoefer at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 5, at Waverly Lutheran Church in rural Trimont.

Visitation will take place from 9:30 to 11 a.m. prior to Atzenhoefer’s service at the church on Friday. Following Atzenhoefer’s services, she will be buried at the Waverly Lutheran Church Cemetery next to her husband, Erwin, who passed away on Jan. 19, 2025.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Atzenhoefer’s name to Waverly Lutheran Church.

Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center of Trimont, Sherburn, and Welcome is assisting the family with arrangements.

Rosemary Atzenhoefer was born on April 30, 1940, to Moritz and Leona Grunert in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Atzenhoefer will forever be remembered by her daughters, Gail Lewis and Jessica Howe; sons, Michael Atzenhoefer and Dale Atzenhoefer; grandchildren; brother, Larry Grunert; brothers-in-law, Donald Atzenhoefer and Kenneth Atzenhoefer; sister-in-law, Karen Manders; nieces and nephews; as well as many other family and friends.
