ODIN — A Celebration of Life Service for Violet Brudelie, 97, of Odin, Minn. will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at Zion Lutheran Church in Odin, with burial in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Odin. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30, at Zion Lutheran Church in Odin. Violet Selma Linnea Brudelie was born June 4, 1927, to Anthon and Margaret Sandberg in Minnesota’s Watonwan County and baptized in Kansas Lake Lutheran Church. Brudelie was called to her eternal rest on Dec. 1, 2024, at Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm, Minn., after yearscoping with dementia that was often faced, according to those who worked with her, with smiles and hugs for her caregivers.
