Julaine A. Warriner

SHERBURN — A service celebrating the life of Julaine A. Warriner, 67, of Sherburn, Minn., will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wilbert, Minn. Burial will be held following the service in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wilbert, Minn. Julie passed away Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025, at her home in Sherburn, Minn. Those wishing to view the service may do so by visiting our website, where the service will be uploaded to Julie’s page. Julaine Ann (Bremer) Warriner was born on Jan. 12, 1958, at the Fairmont Community Hospital in Fairmont, Minn, the daughter of Carl H. and Marie A. (Schultze) Bremer. Julie was baptized and later confirmed into the Lutheran faith at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wilbert, Minn. Julie grew up in the Wilbert area and attended parochial school at St. Paul’s Lutheran in Wilbert through the eighth grade. She continued with her education in Ceylon where she attended high school and graduated with the class of 1976. Julie went on to further her education, attending Jackson Vocational/Technical School in Jackson, where she received her degree as a medical secretary.

On May 19, 1982, Julie was united in marriage to Gary Warriner at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wilbert. Together, the couple celebrated the birth of two daughters, Nicole and Amanda.

Julie worked various jobs throughout her career but found her true calling working for Mayo Clinic in Fairmont, where she worked until her retirement in Dec. 2024.

Julie had an outgoing and fun-loving personality and loved to be on the go. She was an avid Minnesota sports fan and enjoyed cheering on the Twins and Vikings! Julie loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Faith was an important part of Julie’s life. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wilbert, where she served her church in many different roles. Her zest for life and her love of well-done burgers will be cherished and remembered by all those who loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Nicole (Jake) Schmidt and Amanda (Sam) Warriner; grandchildren, Lilliana Schmidt, Vincent Schmidt, Owen Schuder, and Xena Schuder; brothers, Donovon (Julia) Bremer, Brian (Cindy) Bremer, and Marlan Bremer; nephew, Zachary Bremer; uncles, Paul (Eunice) Bremer and Lyle Munsterman; as well as many cousins, extended family and friends.

Julaine was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Marie Bremer; maternal and paternal grandparents; and a sister, Debra Bremer.
