Gary S. Stromberg was called to his eternal rest on Tuesday afternoon, July 15, 2025, at the Good Samaritan Society-Pleasantview in St. James, Minn., with his family at his side. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday, July 18, at the Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont, Minn. Kramer Family Funeral Home of Sherburn, Trimont and Welcome, Minn. are in charge of Gary’s arrangements.

Gary Steen Stromberg was born Feb. 3, 1941, to Steen and Leona Stromberg in St. James, Minn.

He is survived by his two daughters, Melissa Anderson of St. James, Minn. and Melanie Fredin of rural Butterfield, Minn.; six grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy Standridge of Tulsa, Okla.; brother, Dannie Stromberg of Redwood Falls, Minn.
