Lonney L. Skaar
BLUE EARTH — Lonney “Lon” Lee Skaar, 86, of Blue Earth passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025, at UHD. A celebration of his life will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 20, at Patton Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour before the service, and burial with military honors will be at Calvary Cemetery.
Skaar was born Oct. 3, 1938, to Lars and Wylma Skaar in Algona, Iowa.
He is survived by his son Mark of Fertile, Iowa, brother, Ommund Skaar of Bloomington, sister Judy Hofmaier of Omaha, Nebr., as well as many other extended family and close friends.
