Resch was called to his eternal rest on Friday Evening, May 30, 2025 at the Good Samaritan Society in Jackson, Minn. Visitation will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Jackson and one hour prior to the mass at the church on Saturday. There will be Holy Rosary at 4:30 p.m. at the Church on Friday.

Eugene Anthony Resch was born on Nov. 5, 1929, to Anna Elizabeth and Jacob George Resch. He was born at Halloran Hospital in Jackson, Minn. He was welcomed home by brothers Leo and John.

Resch is survived by his six children: Kathleen Pedersen of Pierce, Nebr., twin boys, Mike Resch of Mankato, Mark Resch of Eagle Lake, Mn, Stephen Resch of Jackson, Minn., Sharon Wilson of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Brian Resch of Minneapolis, Minn. Fifteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren and nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
