James F. Mulso

SHERBURN — A Celebration of Life Service for James “Butch” F. Mulso, 84, of Sherburn, Minn., will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 6, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sherburn. Burial will follow at Sherburn Cemetery with military honors provided by the Thomas P. Saxton American Legion Post #356 and the Sherburn Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #8261 of Sherburn. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sherburn and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday, June 6. Mulso went to his eternal rest on May 25, 2025, surrounded by the people he loved most in life at Goldfinch Estates in Fairmont. Kramer Family Funeral Home of Trimont, Sherburn, and Welcome is assisting the family with the arrangements.
James Fredrick Mulso, “Butch” as he was known his entire life, made his entrance to this world with a bang on Nov. 11, 1940, the famed Armistice Day blizzard in Fairmont, to Elmer and Gladys Mulso.
Left to cherish the memories of Mulso are his two daughters, whom he loved so dearly, Michele Ammann of Truman and Kari Glienke of Welcome, both provided such comfort and joy to Butch his entire life; his five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Thomas Mulso of Palm Springs, Calif.; sister-in-law, Susan Mulso of Palm Springs, Calif.; brother-in-law, Jerry Huse of Fairmont; four nephews; and other extended family and friends.
