FAIRMONT — Private family services for Jean Marie Maakestad, 68, of Fairmont, Minn., will be held at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont with burial held at a later date. A time for remembering and celebrating Jean’s life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. Maakestad passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, Minn. Lakeview Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
