WINNEBAGO — Carolyn Ann Anderson, 87, of Winnebago, died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center in Blue Earth. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9 at Foundational Bible Church of Winnebago with Rev. Daren Barnett officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service held at the church. Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery, Winnebago following the service.

Carolyn was born Oct. 5, 1937, in Winnebago, the daughter of George and Grace Berniece (Holtz) Anderson. She was a 1955 graduate of Huntley High School and then attended Beauty School in Minneapolis.

She lived in the Twin Cities area and worked at Investors Diversified Services in Minneapolis. She retired and later returned home to Winnebago in 2001. Carolyn was a longtime member of the Powderhorn Park Baptist Church in Minneapolis where she was a member of the Business Women’s Group. She loved to travel throughout the country, especially to Colo., Flor., and Hawaii. She was a Minn. sports fan and enjoyed following the Twins, Vikings, Gophers, and Lynx. She had also been a volunteer at Parker-Oaks in Winnebago.

Carolyn is survived by her brother, Dennis (Marjorie) Anderson of Kellogg, two nephews: Garrett (Rylee) Anderson of North Mankato, Trevor (Lexi) Anderson of Rockford, and three nieces: Keri (Markus) Murphy of Fairmont, Ashley (Todd) Reynolds of Algona, Iowa, and Emmalee (Scott) Kohloff of Waunakee, Wis. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, brother, an infant niece, and an infant nephew.
