Linda Marie Anderson was born on June 12, 1948, in Blue Earth, Minn. She was the daughter of Melvin and LaZetta (Dobson) Anderson. She attended Blue Earth public school and graduated from Blue Earth High School. After High School, Linda furthered her education at Mankato State graduating as a Social Worker with a BS degree.

Linda devoted her life to missionary work and was the Assistant Director in Europe with Campus Crusade for Christ. After thirty-five years of service, she returned to the United States and worked in the Emergency Department at the Fairmont Hospital.

Linda was a member of the Christian Church in Fairmont where she was active as a Sunday School Teacher as well as working in the office. During her free time, Linda enjoyed cross-stitching, gardening, playing tennis and board games, playing cribbage and was an avid reader.

Left to cherish her memory include her siblings, Ken (Helga) Anderson, and Sue Kast; nephews and nieces, Chris (Paula) Kast, Andre Anderson, Danny (Maria) Anderson, Cleto Anderson, Jeremiah (Jennifer) Anderson, Leah (Jamie) Holland, Sarah (Ken) Yokiel, and Matt (Katye) Anderson; 15 grand nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Along with her parents, Melvin and LaZetta Anderson, Linda was also preceded in death by her brother, Ray Anderson; and brother-in-law, Dick Kast.
