Hilda A. Tietje

JACKSON — A Graveside Service for Hilda A. Tietje, 101, of Denham Springs, La, formerly of Jackson, Minn., will be 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28, at Lake Belt Cemetery in rural Ceylon, Minn. Tietje passed away on Monday morning, Oct. 21, 2024, at Grace Health and Rehab Center in Slaughter, La. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

Hilda Anna Tietje was born on Feb. 5, 1923, to Robert and Freda Wiedow in Ceylon, Minn.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Darold Tietje of Washougal, Wash., Ronald Tietje of Tucson, Ariz., Cheryl McGuire of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Brenda Slaven of St. Gabriel, La.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
