Ray E. Park
FAIRMONT — Funeral Service for Ray E. Park, 87, of Fairmont, Minn, will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, at the Lakeview Funeral Home with military honors provided by the Lee C. Prentice American Legion Post 36 and Martin County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1222. Interment will be in Center Creek Cemetery in rural Granada, Minn. Ray passed away on Thursday morning, Oct. 17, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
Ray E. Park was born on March 11, 1937, in Fairmont, Minn. He was the son of Ray K. and Frances (Houger) Park.
Left to cherish his memory include his wife, Edite Park of Fairmont, Minn; children, Denise Jorgenson of Fairmont, Minn; Gary Park of Fairmont, Minn; and Amy Park of Glendale, Ariz; grandchildren, Tina Coquyt of Fairmont, Minn; Terrance Park of Fairmont, Minn; Bobby Park Stewart of Craig, Colo; Dayna Johnson of Fairmont, Minn; Danielle Godina of Frost, Minn; and Dakota Johnson of Frost, Minn; Nine great grandchildren and soon to be 10; sisters, Lorraine Wendlandt of Glendale, Ariz; Marilyn Oertwich of Maple Grove, Minn; June Fluegel of Morro Bay, Cal.; and Carolyn Mathiesen of Grant, Minn and Sun City Center, Fla; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
