She attended school in Fairmont and graduated from Fairmont High School with the class of 1999. While attending high school, Pittman enlisted in the Minnesota National Guard and took her basic training the summer between her junior and senior years. Pittman proudly served her country earning her honorable discharge on April 20, 2005.
Pittman loved helping and caring for others. This passion led her to a career path in the healthcare field. She attended Southwest Technical College where she earned her degree as a phlebotomist. She would go on to further her education and became a Medical Lab Technician working for both Dulcimer Clinic and later Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Fairmont.
Pittman had an adventurous soul and looked forward to time spent outdoors with family and friends. She enjoyed sharing laughs around the campfire and making memories while camping under the stars. Pittman found beauty and joy in the simple things in life from kayaking on a calm lake to sitting quietly and watching the sunset. Family was extremely important to Pittman, and she treasured spending time with her children. She was open to experiencing new types of music and was always up for an opportunity to play Bingo! Pittman will be greatly missed by all those who loved her and called her a friend.
