Dr. Steven Sumey

FAIRMONT — Funeral services for Dr. Steven Sumey, 70, of Fairmont, Minn., will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 100 W. Market St. in Okabena, Minn. Burial will follow the service in St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery, Okabena.

Following his recent cancer diagnosis, Dr. Sumey passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, Sept. 23, 2024. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at Lakeview Funeral Home, 205 Albion Avenue in Fairmont, and one hour prior to the time of service Friday at the church. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.
