Richard D. Wolner

FAIRMONT — A memorial service for Richard D. Wolner, age 81, of Fairmont, Minn., will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fairmont. Inurnment will be at a later date in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Fairmont.

Wolner passed away Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 18, 2024, at Heartland Senior Living in Truman,

Minn. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church. Lakeview Funeral Home

and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Richard Dwight Wolner was born June 21, 1943, in St. James, Minn., the son of Oliver and Ruth

(Mossengren) Wolner.

Survivors include: his wife, Corrine Wolner of Fairmont, Minn.; daughters, Shelley Pavich of Ceylon,

Minn. and Jackie Wolner of Fairmont; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Joyce

Wolner of St. James, Minn., Gary Wolner of St. James, Steven Wolner of New Hampshire, Mark Wolner of Cottage Grove, Minn. and Rebecca Schmidt of St. James; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law,

Jeannette Wolner of Madelia, Minn., Connie Frericks of Wabasso, Minn., Roberta (Tony) Tomez of

Waseca, Minn., Cathy Benes of Janesville, Minn
