FAIRMONT — A memorial service for Bernyce M. Ziemer, 88, of Fairmont, Minn., will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Fairmont. Burial will be in Center Chain Cemetery, rural Fairmont.

Bernyce passed away Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024, at her home in Fairmont. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont, and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Bernyce Marie (Johnson) Ziemer was born May 26, 1936, to Raymond and Mathilda E. (Schultz) Johnson in Waverly Township, Martin County, Minn.

Survivors include: her sons, Brett Ziemer of Fairmont and Kris Ziemer of Fairmont; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis Johnson of Fairmont; sister, Melva Willaby of Fort Mill, S.C.; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Ziemer-Bledsoe of Oxford, Wis.; other relatives and friends.
