Schley was called to his eternal rest Friday morning, Aug. 23, 2024, at his daughter’s home in rural Estherville, Iowa. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today, Aug. 28, at the Kramer Family Funeral Home in Welcome, and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church. Arrangements for the family are by Kramer Family Funeral Home of Sherburn, Trimont and Welcome.

Norman Edwin Carl Schley was born April 14, 1930, to Edwin and Esther (Benz) Schley in Dunnell, Minn.

Survivors include: his five children, Dale Schley of Wabasso, Minn., Gail Kociemba of Buckeye, Ariz., Robin Adkins of rural Estherville, Iowa, David Schley of rural Alpha, Minn. and Dan Schley of rural Sherburn, Minn.; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ruth Schley of LeCenter,

Minn.; other relatives and friends.
