FAIRMONT — Dorene Madsen died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2024, at Valley Vue Care Center in Armstrong, Iowa, at 97 years of age, just one day prior to her 98th birthday. A funeral service for her will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at East Chain Evangelical Free Church with interment at the church cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday at East Chain Evangelical Free Church. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with the arrangements.
