passed away peacefully Friday, Aug. 23, 2024, surrounded by family. A celebration of life and graveside service for Diane will be held Oct. 12, 2024, in Egnar, Colorado. Details will be posted on the funeral home’s website in September. All are welcome to attend. Sinn Funeral Home in Trimont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Barbara Dianne “Diane” Sutherland was born March 1, 1951, in Nucla, Colo., to James Pearl Sutherland and Oneita (Williams) Sutherland. In March of 2024, Diane was diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer, and in May moved to Lewisville to spend her remaining time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include: her daughter, Kel Blaine Pults of Lewisville, Minn.; son, Will Keith of Lewisville; son, Shannon Jess Keith of Arizona; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Kessler of Naturita, Colo., Cheryl Eades of Redvale, Colo., Donna Robbins of Mancos, Colo. and Kathy Hessler of Reno, Nev.; brothers, Jim Sutherland of Egnar, Colo., Randy Sutherland of Naturita, Colo., Ricky Sutherland of Nucla, Colo., Lee Sutherland of Naturita, Colo., Bill Sutherland of Kingsman, Ariz. and Bob Sutherland of Nucla, Colo.; other relatives and friends.
