Darlene passed away peacefully Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024, at her home in Fairmont, surrounded by her loving family. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Darlene Agnes (Molitor) Bellecourt was born Sept. 12, 1937, in Milroy, Minn., the daughter of John and Agnes (Jarvis) Molitor. She received her education attending school in Milroy.

Darlene was baptized and later confirmed into the Lutheran faith at Milroy Lutheran Church in Milroy, Minn.

Darlene was passionate about crafts and enjoyed doing needle work and embroidering pieces that she shared with family and friends. She was very talented working with plastic canvases and was always up for a hand of cards when people would visit. Darlene loved to play a homemade marble game that her dad, John made for the family.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jerry Bellecourt, Mark (Connie) Bergeron, Kathy Harris Bergeron, Connie Kay Bellecourt and Allen Bellecourt; grandchildren, Connie Bergeron, Bonnie Bergeron, Hunter Bellecourt, Ryan McCormick, DeeAnna McCormick, Michael McCormick, Jeremy Bellecourt, Adrian Harris, Shapri Harris and Mariah Harris; sister, Delores VanOverbek, sister-in-law, Marlene Molitor; as well as many other extended family and friends.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, John and Agnes Molitor, daughter, Bonnie Gay Bellecourt; two infant twins; siblings, Maynard Molitor, Cy Molitor, Gordie Molitor and Richard Molitor; and in-laws, Hazel Molitor, Janice Molitor, and Pat Molitor. www.lakeviewfuneralhome.net
