Lawrence ‘Larry’ P. McGuire
FAIRMONT — Lawrence “Larry” Patrick McGuire, 75, of rural Fairmont, Minn., passed away peacefully Friday, Aug. 16, 2024, at his home. A visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024, at Laufersweiler Funeral Home in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, also at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, Duncombe, Iowa.
Lawrence is survived by his siblings, Bruce McGuire of Ankeny, Iowa and Iris (Tim) Hazel of Fort Dodge, Iowa; as well as his sister-in-law, Karen McGuire. Uncle Lawrence was definitely known to spoil his nieces and nephews and enjoyed several great and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
