Bursell passed away Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 13, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, Minn. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Carole Jeannine (Olson) Bursell was born May 25, 1949, to Ervin and Eva (Ek) Olson in Trimont, Minn.

Survivors include: her husband, Lowell “Jack” Bursell of Fairmont, Minn.; daughter, Jessica Bursell of Fairmont; son, Jason Bursell of Jackson, Minn.; stepdaughters, Vikki Wilson of New Mexico, Nellie Pratt of Tucson, Ariz., Janice Metz of Madison, Wis. and Denise Martinson of Hibbing, Minn.; three grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, David and Karen Olson; other relatives and friends.
