BLUE EARTH — Orville Eugene Frandle, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2024, just one day shy of his 94th birthday at UHD in Blue Earth, Minn. A celebration of Orville’s life will take place 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Blue Earth, with a public visitation from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial, among his fellow veterans and loved ones, will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Blue Earth is in charge of arrangements.

Orville was born Aug. 15, 1930, in Ledyard, Iowa, to John and Lena (Hendrickson) Frandle.

He loved his country and served in the U.S. Army as a field radio repair technician and was honorably discharged.

Survivors include: his children, Randy Frandle of Blue Earth, Roxanne Frandle of Zimmerman and Becky Bok of Blue Earth; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
