SHERBURN — A funeral service for Robert “Bob” Cook Jr., 71, of rural Sherburn, Minn., will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome, Minn. Burial will be in the Welcome City Cemetery.

Cook passed away Tuesday morning, July 30, 2024, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9-11 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome. Arrangements for the family by Kramer Family Funeral Home of Sherburn, Trimont and Welcome.

Right after the gathering at Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome, there will be a time for sharing memories of Robert at the Cook family farm in rural Sherburn. All are welcome.

Robert Roy Cook was born May 7, 1953, in Estherville, Iowa, to Robert and Dorothy (Hendricks) Cook.

Survivors include: his son, Broderich Cook of Welcome, Minn.; two grandsons; stepdaughter, Magen Borkenhagen of Granada, Minn.; stepsons, Troy Menke of Fairmont, Minn. and Gavin Flohre of Blue Earth, Minn.; other relatives and friends.
