FAIRMONT — Services for Joyce Adell Hillmer, 77, of rural Fairmont, Minn., will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5, 2024, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Fairmont. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery, Fairmont. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Joyce died Thursday morning, Aug. 1, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Joyce Adell (Kruse) Hillmer was born April 14, 1947, in rural Fairmont, Minn., the daughter of Harold and Alice (Hinrichs) Kruse. Joyce was united in marriage to William John Hillmer on Jan. 14, 1968.

Joyce was a lifelong resident of Martin County and a financial officer for 20 years with Martin County National Bank. She loved all things outdoors; fishing, gardening, farming, golfing.

Joyce is survived by her husband, William Hillmer; sons, John William, Christoph Aaron and his wife, Sandra; three grandchildren, Wil, Teyah and Ahron.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Robert, Allan and Joel Kruse. www.lakeviewfuneralhome.net
