FAIRMONT — A funeral service for Irene M. Ponstein, age 97, of Fairmont, Minn., will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 12, at Bethel Evangelical Free Church in Fairmont. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Fairmont.

Ponstein passed away Thursday morning, July 4, 2024, at her daughter’s home in Fairmont. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Friday at the church. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.
