GRANADA — Services for Dean A. Becker, 57, of Granada, Minn., will beheld 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at St. James Lutheran Church in Northrop, Minn. Burial will follow the service in St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today, July 2, 2024, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont.

Dean passed away Friday, June 28, 2024. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Dean Alan Becker was born June 28, 1967, in Fairmont, Minn., the son of Ralph and Joanne (Haack) Becker. Dean grew up on the family farm and attended school in Granada, Minn., graduating from Granada High School with the class of 1985.

On Sept. 12, 1992, Dean was united in marriage to Carol Stusse at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fairmont, Minn. The couple made their home on the family farm near Granada and were blessed with 31 years of marriage.

Dean loved life on the farm and found great joy and satisfaction from working the land and raising cattle. His passion for farming left him with little time for hobbies, but on an off day, you could find him jumping at the opportunity to throw a line in the water in the hopes of catching a fish. Dean cherished spending time with friends and family and treasured the many meaningful and special friendships he created throughout the years. He will be greatly missed by those that loved him and called him a friend.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Carol Becker; sister, Sarah Weber and her husband, Ray; nephews, Mitchell Weber and Matt Stusse and his wife, Mel; niece, Katelyn Weber; brothers-in-law, Ted Stusse, Gary (Sue) Stusse and Tim Stusse; as well as many other extended family and friends.
