SAC CITY, Iowa — Clarence Junior Bierstedt, age 88, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Park View Rehab Center in Sac City, Iowa. A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 29, at Henry Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville, Iowa, with visitation one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Estherville, Iowa. Henry Olson Funeral Home in Estherville, Iowa, is in charge of arrangements.
Clarence was born Feb. 10, 1936, in Whittemore, Iowa, to Clarence and Clara (Kressin) Bierstedt. He served in the U.S. Army from 1958-1960 and was honorably discharged.
Survivors include: his daughter, Lori Mooney of Sac City, Iowa; daughter-in-law, Teri Bierstedt of Brookings, S.D.; two grandsons; two great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Janean Bierstedt of Fenton, Iowa, Shirley Johnson of Fairmont, Minn., Lorae Johnson of Spirit Lake, Iowa; other relatives and friends.
