Lois passed away Friday morning, June 14, 2024, at the Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on June 23, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont, and one hour prior to the service on June 24 at the church. Memorials are preferred to UHD Hospice. Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Lois Mae was born June 20, 1942, the daughter of William and Ursula (Urban) Neuenfeldt in Truman, Minn. Growing up she attended school at St. John’s Lutheran School in Antrim and graduated high school from Truman High School on June 1, 1961.

On June 23, 1961, she was united in marriage to Charles Elwood Davis at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Antrim. This union was blessed with four children, Teresa, Tammy, Tracy, and Tim.

Lois worked at Bachmann’s, Ron’s Super Valu and the Americana Café. She was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 561 in Lewisville, Minn., was an avid sports fan and could always be found cheering on the Minnesota Twins and Vikings. Lois also had a competitive side as she played Bingo and various card games. She found peace and fulfillment in tending to her flowers and plants. Lois created a warm and inviting home where all were welcome. She loved spending quality time with her family, embracing the roles of wife, mom, grandma and great-grandma.

Lois will be remembered as loving and faith filled. Her memory will be cherished and celebrated by those who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory include her husband, Charles Davis of Fairmont, Minn.; children: Teresa (Brad) Berhow of Welcome, Minn., Tammy (Scott) Wokasch of Truman, Minn., Tracy Steele (Kyle Bloomquist) of Sherburn, Minn. and Tim (Lynn) Davis, of Fairmont, Minn.; grandchildren: ChaseLee (Madison) Berhow, Matthew (Erica) Berhow, RaeAnn (Darin) Wiederhoeft, Amber (Taylor) Menke, Jenna Steele (Aaron Burmeister), Melissa Wokasch, Lexie Steele, Carter Davis (Julia Donovan), Tyler Davis and Marah Steele (Carver Rohman); great-grandchildren: Titan, Duke, Spencer, Avalynn, Graham, Tenley, Malek, Lainey and Kacen; sister, Ruth Ann Frazier; other extended family and friends.
