BUTTERFIELD — A service of remembrance for Dale W. Halvorson, 81, of rural Butterfield, Minn., will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 7, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in rural Odin, Minn, with burial in Kansas Lake Lutheran Cemetery, rural Butterfield, Minn.

Halvorson was called to his eternal rest Tuesday evening, May 28, 2024, at Grand Meadow Senior Living in Grand Meadow, Minn. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 9:30-11 a.m. Friday, June 7, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in rural Odin. Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont is in charge of arrangements.

Dale Woodrow Halvorson was born Feb. 19, 1943, to Meyer and Clarice (Johnson) Halvorson in Tracy, Minn.

Survivors include: his four sons, Kent Halvorson of Rosemount, Minn., Greg Halvorson of Truman, Minn., Jeff Halvorson of Spring Valley, Minn. and Mike Halvorson of Jordan, Minn.; daughter, Cara (Halvorson) Hansen of Truman, Minn.; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Janet Jeckell of Belle Fouche, S.D.; other relatives and friends.
