Bertrand ‘Gene’ E. Pedersen
WELCOME — A public celebration of life visitation for Bertrand “Gene” E. Pedersen, 85, of Welcome, Minn., formerly of Sherburn, Minn., and Spencer, Iowa, will be held 4-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, at the Estherville V.F.W. in Estherville, Iowa.
Bertrand passed away Friday evening, May 17, 2024, at Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont, Minn. Kramer Family Funeral Home in Welcome is in charge of arrangements.
Bertrand Eugene Pedersen was born Oct. 12, 1939, in Moline, Ill., to Minnie Marie German and Julius Polson.
Survivors include: his two children, Tina (Pedersen) Cohoon of Little Rock, Iowa and Troy Pedersen of Pocahontas, Iowa; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Mike Pedersen of Humboldt, Iowa; other relatives and friends.
