Arnold Thrond
BLUE EARTH — Arnold E. Thrond, age 93, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Public visitation for friends and family to pay their respects will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Blue Earth. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 24, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Kiester. Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth is in charge of arrangements.
Arnold was born May 13, 1931, to Anders and Emma (Nicholson) Thrond in Silver Lake Township, Worth County, Minn.
Survivors include: his sons, Randy Thrond of Kiester, Steven Thrond of Walters, Paul Thrond of Licking, Mo.; daughter-in-law, Paty Thrond of Emmons; five grandchildren; four great-grandsons; brothers, Truman Thrond of Albert Lea and Dale Thrond of Northwood; other relatives and friends.
