Mary E. Lehr

TRUMAN — Mary Esther (Schnabel) Lehr, age 97, of Truman, Minn., passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont, Minn. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today, April 23, at Zaharia Funeral Home in Truman. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Truman. Burial will take place at Ridgelawn Cemetery, rural Truman. Zaharia Family Funeral Home in Truman is in charge of arrangements.

Mary was born Sept. 28, 1926, in Burnstad, N.D., to Daniel and Grace May (Farnam) Schnabel. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include: her children, Ronald Lehr of Northrop, Minn., Rodger Lehr of Litchfield, Minn., Roxanne Lehr of Fairmont and Paulette Lutterman of Truman; seven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Charles; sisters, Dena, JoAnne, Betty and Becky; other relatives and friends.
