Charlene Sue (Rich) Johnson was born Dec. 16, 1939, in Fairmont, Minn., the daughter of Rollo and Vera (Spencer) Rich. She attended school in Granada and Fairmont and graduated from Fairmont High School.

In 1959, Charlene was united in marriage to Sylvester Neal in St. Paul, Minn. The couple made their home in the Metro area. To this union one daughter, Dawn Neal, was born. Charlene later married Ken Johnson in Minneapolis, Minn. in 1982.

Charlene worked for many years at 3M working in out-plant servicing until her retirement in 1993. She was passionate about traveling and treasured the many memories made throughout the years on the adventures she took.

Charlene is survived by two daughters, Dawn Neal and Michelle Romine; grandchildren, Joshua Neal, Jennifer Daniel, Jessica Neal, Jason Neal and Nicholas Romine; brother, Ross Rich; sisters, Yvonne Wiegert and Nancy Fetters; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
