Born on March 13, 1960, Jack was the son of Earl and Shirley Doolittle. He attended school in Fairmont, graduating from FHS. On June 4, 1983, Jack married his soulmate, Jeanne Wiederhoeft, and together they welcomed their daughter, Jessica in 1985.

Family was everything to Jack. His love for Jeanne knew no bounds, and their partnership was the cornerstone of his life. Their journey together was marked by countless moments of shared laughter, deep understanding, and unwavering support. Whether chasing their daughter around the world or simply enjoying each other’s company at home, Jack and Jeanne’s bond was a special one, admired by those lucky enough to experience them together.

As a father, Jack found infinite pride in Jessica’s accomplishments. From lessons taught at a young age to career triumphs in adulthood, Jack was her steadfast champion, offering guidance, encouragement, and unconditional love every step of the way. Together, Jack, Jean, and Jess forged memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. Jack’s relationships with his parents, siblings, and mother-in-law were also precious to him. He lived for moments spent at the family cabin, out in the lake, swapping stories, and creating memories. His ability to bring people together and prioritize family first will be sorely missed.

Professionally, Jack owned and operated Doolittle’s Carpet and Paints in Fairmont, pouring his heart into his business, customers, and community. A faithful parishioner of the United Methodist Church, Jack found solace and strength in his faith. Jack had a passion for the outdoors and was an avid golfer, hunter, and fisherman. He also relished time spent traveling with his wife and daughter, as well as spending time at the family cabin in Northern Minnesota.

Jack will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his beloved wife, Jeanne Doolittle; daughter, Jessica Doolittle (Colin Haug); brothers: Denny (Sandra), Jeff (Tamra), and Tim (Krista) Doolittle; sister, Debbie Smith; godson, Ryan (Sarah) Unke, and their children, Charlotte and Kane; as well as other extended family members and countless friends.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, brothers-in-law: Gary, Terry, and Jay Wiederhoeft, and niece, Christina Wensel.

Jack’s legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to family and community will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in eternal peace.www.lakeviewfuneralhome.net
