Finstad went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, at Senior Living Choices in Curtis, Neb., with family at her side. Visitation will be prior to the service from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church in St. James. Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont is in charge of arrangements.

Eva Caroline Finstad was born Sept. 9, 1941, in Darfur, Minn., to Daney and Eva Stark.

Survivors include: her sons, Theron and TJ; two grandchildren; sister, Anita Carlson; brother, Harlie Stark; sister-in-law, Maxine Muller; brother-in-law, Jerry Ericksen; other relatives and friends.
