Jennifer passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont. Those wishing to view the service may do so on the church’s website: www.fairmontucc.org. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

Jennifer Lynn Grefe was born March 3, 1966, to Frederick and Twyla (Faber) Weber in Fairmont, Minn. She received her education from Fairmont Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1984. Jennifer was united in marriage to Brian Thate on July 28, 1984, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Fairmont. To this union three children were born, Amber, Robert and Britney. They were later divorced. Jennifer was united in marriage to Jeff Grefe on Sept. 8, 2012, at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Fairmont. They were later divorced.

Jennifer was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Fairmont. She enjoyed cross-stitching, bowling, playing cards, doing crafts, camping, drinking coffee and having a lot of laughs with her girlfriends. Jennifer’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory include her three children, Amber (Jason) Brummond of Fairmont, Robert (Alexis) Thate of Fairmont and Britney (Matt) Goerndt of Blue Earth; grandchildren, Sophia, Henry, Mackenzie (Lucas), Louis, Alexa, Whytnie, Savannah, Tucker and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Lillian, Charlotte and Theodore; two brothers, Steve (Penny) Weber of Welcome and Jeff (Debbie) Weber of Fairmont; and many other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick Weber and Twyla Weber; and nephew, Joseph Weber. www.lakeviewfuneralhome.net
