BLUE EARTH — Marlin W. Gerdts, age 90, formerly of Blue Earth, passed away peacefully Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, in Scottsdale, Ariz. A time of visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon on March 30 at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth. Visitation will also be held 1-2 p.m. March 30 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, rural Elmore. Celebration of Eternal Life will begin 2 p.m. March 30 at the church. Burial will take place at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. A time of food and fellowship will follow at Elmore Legion Post 192 (clubhouse at the MinnIowa Golf Course). Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth is in charge of arrangements.
