Lavonne Thompson

ELMORE — A celebration of her life for Lavonne Thompson, 76 of Elmore, Minn. will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Shiloh Lutheran Church in Elmore. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2024 at Patton Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Bethany Lutheran Cemetery Frost, Minn. Lavonne passed away Friday January 5, 2024 at Mayo Hospital in Rochester with her loving family by her side.

Lavonne Marie was born February 9, 1947, in Blue Earth, Minn., to the late Roy and Dorothy Hanson. 

She is survived by her beloved children, Todd Thompson of Greene, Iowa, Jason Thompson of Owatonna and Tanya Dunn of Altoona, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Kenneth Hanson of Robbinsdale and Keith Hanson of Mankato; nieces as well as many other extended family members and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Craig and great-granddaughter, Brynlie.
