Betty Ammann
ORMSBY — Services for Betty Jean Ammann, 85, of rural Ormsby, Minn. will be held at 11a.m. on Thursday January 4th, 2024, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in rural Odin, Minn. Burial will be at Elm Creek Cemetery south of Trimont. Betty was called to her eternal rest on Thursday morning, December 28th, 2023, at Mayo Health System/Mankato. Visitation with Betty’s family will be 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday January 3rd, 2024, at Kramer Family Funeral in Trimont, Minn. Kramer Family Funeral Home of Trimont is assisting the family with arrangements.
Betty Jean (Kampert) Ammann was born October 7th, 1938, to M.C. (Tony) and Ruth (Engstrom) Kampert in Martin County, Minn. She was united in marriage on February 15th, 1958, to Kenneth Ammann at Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Denise White of rural Pine Island, Minn, Sherri Gustafson of Madelia, Minn., Lorita Nasman of rural Madelia, Minn.; son, Randy Ammann of rural Ormsby; eight grandchildren; two step grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
