Ellyn Lorraine Kobler was born on April 8th, 1954, to loving parents Robert Kobler and June (Samuelson) Kobler in Elmhurst, Ill. She went to Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn. and graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology in 1976. There she met Kevin Wayne Brolsma, her husband of 47 amazing years. The mother of three also graduated from Georgia State University in 1995 with her Master’s Degree in Molecular Genetics. She held and excelled at many roles in life, a wonderful, patient mother and grandmother; a medical technician, an entrepreneur at Blue Elk Productions and later co-owner of Alpha Precision, Inc (with her husband, Kevin). The family moved to many states during their years from Illinois, Minnesota, Georgia and now Indiana.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Brolsma; three sons, Jake (Stacey) Brolsma, Chris (Annette) Brolsma and Kevin (Jessie)Broslma; siblings, Robert (Sigrid) Kobler and Carole (Ralph) Miserendino; sister-in-law, Misette Kobler; brothers-in-law, Gary (Serena) Brolsma and Greg (Pam) Brolsma; her nine grandchildren, Madison, Benjamin, Luke, Mason, Katherine, Charlotte, Parker, Lillian and Connor; and nieces and nephews, Jon (Jennifer) Kobler, Sarah (Chris) Weise, Joanna (Josh) Hardwick, Ryan Kobler, Deveny (Lucas Braun) Brolsma, Riley (Kristin) Brolsma, Chelsea Brolsma, Emily (Kyle) Brolsma-Peters and Stephanie (Matt) Brolsma-Klutz.
