Karen K. Thieman
FAIRMONT — A private family services for Karen K. Thieman, 85, of Fairmont, Minn., will be at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Fairmont. Karen passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center in Blue Earth, Minn.
Karen K. (Spear) Thieman was born July 29, 1938, in Lakota, Iowa, daughter of John and Bertha (Kish) Spear.
On May 29, 1963, Karen was united in marriage to Gerald “Breen” Thieman at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Fairmont, Minn.. Karen and Gerald made their home in Fairmont where they were blessed with one daughter, Christine.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Christine Korn, Fairmont, Minn; one grandson, one great-grandson; brother, Terry Spear of Heron Lake, Minn; other family and friends.
