Lyle Wilbert Weiss
FAIRMONT — A private family celebration of eternal life service for Lyle Wilbert Weiss, 90 of Fairmont, Minn., will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Fairmont, Minn. Inurnment will be at Sherburn City Cemetery in Sherburn, Minn. Lyle passed away peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023, at Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont, surrounded by his family.
Lyle was born December 5, 1932, in Manyaska Township to Harry and Bertha (Shoemaker) Weiss. He graduated from Sherburn High School in 1950.
On June 28, 1953, Lyle was united in marriage to Ardis Mann at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Dunnell, Minn. They were blessed with three children, David, Kathleen and Annette.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 70 years, Ardis Weiss; children David Weiss of Trimont, Minn., Kathleen Lyons of Rochester, Minn, Annette Jenkins of Winnebago, Minn.; 8 grandchildren; sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
