Karen married her husband, Mark, in 1968 and would live the next 49 years in Trimont, Minn. She loved raising their family there and worked at Farmers State Bank for 46 years. In 2016, Karen moved to Plymouth, Minn. to be closer to her children, Matthew and Rachel. In October of 2021, Karen transitioned to Croixdale Presbyterian Homes in Bayport, MN. She remained kind, loving, selfless and playful through her last days.

Karen will be laid to rest beside her late husband, Mark, on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Elm Creek Cemetery in Trimont, Minn. A visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont. Her full obituary can be found at kramerfuneralhome.com
