Dean G. Bassett

FAIRMONT –A funeral service for Dean G. Bassett, age 89, of Fairmont, Minn., will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fairmont. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Fairmont. Military honors will be provided by the Lee C. Prentice American Legion Post 36 and Martin County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1222.

Bassett passed away Tuesday morning, Oct. 31, 2023, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, Minn. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fairmont, and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.
